Fear grips—what if this trending fanaticism envelops all?
The aftermath indeed will not leave any room for brilliance.
Mere irrationality will roar and roar heedless about its defect.
But the rays of rationality will once again stand to valorize
To delve, to contemplate, to analyze, to decipher, to interrogate,
Are some of the fruits borne by the mammoth tree of rationality?
Carrying the trappings of myth, attiring up for a bootlickers’ queue,
Washing hands in an ocean of hatched-up plots, tweaking the edges of truth,
It is the skirmish from which the rays of rationality always attain victory, though late.
